One week to go .... Planes, Trains and Automobile

In one week from today we will be on our way for the next exciting journey in our Adventurous Life - this time 23 days in north east USA.

Our itinerary takes us to some major cities - Washington, Philadelphia, New York, Boston and Chicago. We will drive through New England during autumn (fall) which has been a dream of mine for many years.

There will be Ad Labs, museums, historic buildings, walks and so much more. We will take the elevator to the top of the Washington Monument; go sleuthing at the Spy Museum; climb the Rocky steps; see Wicked on Broadway; meet Liberty and a Rockette; catch up with friends in Boston; seek out witches in Salem; tackle the Auto Road to the top of Mt Washington (the highest mountain in the North East of the US); travel through 3 Lebanons, 2 Woodstocks, Bethlehem, Rome, Greece and Amsterdam; watch the water flowing over Niagara Falls; walk the Magnificent Mile in Chicago; and take Amtrak's South West Chief on a 40 hr train trip from Chicago to Los Angeles (Yes - we have sleepers).

Our itinerary is packed (what would you expect from Ian!) but filled with all the things we love.
